副社長/ Vice President

A renowned consumer electronics company is looking for a Vice President – Development. The selected candidate will lead senior living community development projects across Japan, from opportunity evaluation to construction completion and operational handover.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end senior living community development projects
• Identify land acquisition, redevelopment, and joint venture opportunities
• Manage planning, construction, budgeting, and operational handover
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, operators, and healthcare partners
• Oversee permitting, zoning, licensing, and regulatory approval processes
• Build stakeholder relationships and lead development teams across project sites

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in real estate, architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, construction management, or a relevant domain
• More than 15 years of experience in real estate development with significant exposure to large-scale residential, hospitality, mixed-use, or senior living projects
• Knowledge of Japanese real estate regulations, permitting processes, and development practices
• Possess network across developers, contractors, consultants, landowners, financial institutions, and government authorities in Japan
• Fluent level verbal and written Japanese; proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in luxury hospitality, branded residential, wellness, or senior living projects
