製造マネージャー/ Manufacturing Manager

A global industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Manager. The selected candidate will lead manufacturing strategy, operational excellence projects, resource planning, production optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and update production concepts in coordination with the management team
• Ensure productivity and delivery performance across overall production processes and drive continuous improvement
• Manage budgeting and resource planning including personnel, systems, and operating resources
• Lead planning and monitoring of Operational Excellence projects
• Coordinate collaboration between manufacturing, Process Development, and R&D departments for product development and innovation management
• Organise and coordinate production processes with supervisors to ensure product and process quality
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, reliability, and operational speed
• Optimise equipment according to production output requirements
• Implement new investments within budget and scheduled timelines
• Improve production KPIs and maintain a safe and healthy production environment
• Ensure compliance with all relevant production standards and specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, or related field
• More than 10 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
• Experience in international industrial company environments
• Extensive specialist knowledge and staff management experience
• Project management experience with Lean production, TOC, or PDCA methodologies
• IT knowledge and application skills including SAP and MS Office Suite
• Native level Japanese; business level English
