主任技術者/ Chief Operations Engineer

A global electronics lifecycle services company is looking for a skilled and licensed Chief Engineer. The selected candidate will lead the execution of robotics and automation integration projects in warehouse environments.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a representative for the Japan entity
• Act as the designated Chief Engineer for automation and robotics installation projects
• Oversee the planning, integration, and commissioning of warehouse automation
• Lead engineering teams through design reviews, equipment installation, system testing, and handover
• Collaborate with the client’s system architects, control engineers, software teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Manage technical documentation, drawings, and specifications; review and approve engineering change orders
• Ensure site safety, regulatory compliance (電気事業法, 労働安全衛生法, etc.), and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
• Act as the main technical liaison with customers and government inspectors
• Mentor junior engineers and project staff and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Valid Japanese license or certification qualifying the candidate to serve as Shunin Gijutsu Sha (e.g., 一級電気工事施工管理技士, 機械器具設置工事監理技術者など)
• Experience in electromechanical systems, industrial automation, and project management in accordance with Japanese law
