Regional Director, North Asia

A global equipment technology and services company is seeking a Regional Director, North Asia. The selected candidate will lead commercial teams, drive strategic growth, and oversee key business administration functions.

Responsibilities:

• Maximise revenue growth, profitability, and market share across the region
• Lead front-end engineered equipment commercial teams for combustion and mass transfer businesses
• Identify new business opportunities and proactively engage with the industry
• Challenge traditional business models to accelerate growth through transformational leadership
• Establish a culture of accountability, strategic thinking, and proactive execution
• Inspire and mentor team members to adapt, innovate, and achieve breakthrough results
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Champion continuous improvement and challenge assumptions using PBM principles
• Foster collaboration between customers and internal product development, manufacturing, and management teams
• Lead organisational change to maintain industry leadership

Requirements:

• Previous leadership experience in change management, talent development, and accountability
• Proven ability to build mutually beneficial relationships and structure bids/deals
• Passion for ideation and innovation, with strong skills in collaboration and creating a shared vision
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and program interdependencies
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English
