主任技師/ Chief Engineer

A global hospitality company is looking for a Chief Engineer. The selected candidate will lead hotel engineering operations, oversee maintenance strategies, manage budgets and projects, and develop high-performing teams while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily engineering operations and allocate resources to support hotel needs
• Develop, coach, and evaluate engineering team members to drive performance and engagement
• Collaborate with department leaders to address maintenance requirements and ensure service excellence
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and sustainability initiatives across hotel facilities
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize energy, maintenance, and capital planning activities
• Direct renovation projects, supervise contractors, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• More than 4 years of experience in general building maintenance or construction
• Skilled in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields
• Possess valid Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter
• Possess valid professional certification and licence if required by law
• Native level Japanese; professional level English

Preferred requirements:

• Prior hotel experience
