メカトロニクスエンジニア/ Mechatronics Engineer

An international aerospace company is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer. The selected candidate will develop mission components and support equipment, ensuring reliable performance in space. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate requirements and break down component functionalities
• Propose design concepts for mission-specific systems
• Select and assess components to meet technical requirements
• Design and develop mechanical components such as actuators, flexures, and precision mechanisms, and integrate hardware
• Create and set up jigs and fixtures to support testing and integration
• Plan, execute, and analyse environmental tests including vibration, thermal, and vacuum
• Define and manage assembly and integration of mission components into satellite systems
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including assembly and test procedures
• Collaborate with optical, firmware, and hardware teams for system integration
• Develop software tools for automation, testing, and performance analysis
• Conduct research and development for next-generation mission components
• Work in workshop and cleanroom environments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in robotics or related field
• More than 5 years of experience in mechatronics or related areas
• Proven experience conducting environmental tests such as thermal, vacuum, or vibration
• Practical experience in the aerospace industry is ideal
• Experience with PLM, PDM, and other CAD tools is preferred
• Prior firmware development experience using C/C++ is a plus
• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks or PTC Creo
• Skilled in Python programming for automation and data analysis
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA, or Bitbucket (preferred)
• Business level Japanese
