HRGAマネージャー/ HRGA Manager
An international life sciences company is looking for a Human Resource/General Affairs Manager. The selected candidate will lead HR and general affairs operations, manage employee relations and compliance, support talent initiatives, and oversee workplace administration to enhance organisational performance. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage company cars, fixtures, consumables, fixed assets, and other general affairs assets
- Plan disaster prevention management and evacuation drills for office buildings
- Manage employee welfare services, including medical examinations, leave systems, and subsidies
- Oversee facility management, including cleaning services, air conditioning, maintenance, and office lease renewals
- Manage legal documents, board and shareholder meeting materials, employee records, corporate seals, and ISO conformity management
- Ensure compliance with personal data protection and legal requirements
- Manage physical security, access control, and information security
- Plan and manage internal events
- Manage external vendors, mailings, reception, congratulations and condolences, and other administrative tasks
- Partner with business leaders to align people and culture initiatives with business goals
- Manage day-to-day HR operations in Japan in collaboration with the North America HR team
- Manage employee relations, investigations, leave requests, and conflict resolution
- Partner with TA to recruit and retain key talent
- Partner with Total Rewards to support compensation, bonus programmes, and reward initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Social Studies, Business, Law, or a related field
- More than 8 years of experience in human resources
- More than 2 years of experience in international human resources
- Solid understanding of accounting, taxation, and finance concepts related to payroll
- Thorough understanding of Japanese employment laws
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, UKG, and SAP
- Fluent level Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in learning and development, business partnering, compensation, or benefits
- Experience in the healthcare, life sciences, medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industries
- Experience leading HR or General Affairs employees
- Possess a valid HRCI or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification
