人事マネージャー/ HR Manager
A multinational technology and shipping solutions company is looking for an HR Manager. The selected candidate will lead strategic HR initiatives, oversee talent management and employee relations, and drive organisational development while ensuring compliance with local labour regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Partner with business leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Drive employee engagement and organisational culture initiatives
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain talent
- Develop talent pipelines through partnerships with universities, agencies, and professional networks
- Manage performance review processes and support managers with appraisals and goal setting
- Handle employee relations matters including grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with Japanese labour laws and company policies
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll processes in coordination with finance teams
- Develop learning and leadership development programmes to support employee growth
- Lead HR projects including policy updates, system implementations, and organisational change initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- More than 7 years of experience in HR
- More than 3 years of HR managerial experience
- Experience in the Japanese market and familiarity with local labour laws and HR practices
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organisational development
- Proficiency with HR systems such as Workday or similar platforms
- Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Master’s degree or above
