People & Business Projects Partner
A global technology company is looking for a People & Business Projects Partner. The selected candidate will advise senior leadership on people priorities, strengthen talent capabilities, and manage key cross-functional business projects.
Responsibilities:
- Advise the Country Manager and leadership team on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, talent priorities, and employee engagement
- Drive talent reviews, succession planning, capability assessments, and development actions for critical roles and high-potential employees
- Partner with hiring teams on workforce planning, role definition, candidate assessment, talent mapping, and recruitment progress
- Strengthen performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, retention, and accountability across the organisation
- Manage strategic business projects by defining objectives, milestones, responsibilities, timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Support organisational change, maintain project and people data, and prepare dashboards, reports, and leadership presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in human resources, business administration, psychology, organisational development, management or a related domain
- 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in People & Culture, HR business partnering, talent management, organisational development, business consulting, project management or a related domain
- Experience partnering directly with business leaders and management teams
- Prior experience supporting talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, recruitment or workforce planning
- Proven experience in Japan or working closely with Japanese business stakeholders
- Knowledge of talent management, succession planning, performance management and leadership development practices
- Familiarity with business priorities and translate them into practical people and project actions
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Fluent level English; proficient in Japanese (business level is ideal)
Preferred requirements:
- Experience working in an international, matrixed or multinational organisation
- Knowledge with HR systems, employee data, SAP or other ERP/HRIS platforms
- Possess valid HR, talent management, organisational development, project
management or business consulting qualification
