シニアピープルパートナー(リテール)/ Senior People Partner - Retail
A global insurance solutions company is looking for a Senior People Partner focused on retail business operations. The selected candidate will lead strategic HR partnership, employee relations, leadership coaching, talent initiatives, and people operations support across frontline business functions. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with retail and frontline leaders to align people strategies with business goals
- Advise on workforce planning, organisational design, talent strategy, and people risks
- Lead complex employee relations cases, investigations, and policy compliance matters
- Coach managers on performance, conduct, engagement, and people leadership
- Drive recruitment, retention, succession planning, and culture-building initiatives
- Collaborate with HR teams and systems to deliver integrated solutions and manage HR operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 7 years of experience as a HR Business Partner in a global company
- Experience as an HRBP
- Prior retail experience
- Proven experience supporting operational businesses with frontline or field populations (retail, service operations, franchise models)
- Backgorund in people management (coaching and developing HR team members)
- Understanding of employee relations, organisational development and planning, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, training and development, talent management, and Japanese labor law
- Understanding of sound business practices and project management
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Fluent level Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in both large-scale established organisation and small-sized organisation at start-up or near start-up phase
- Prior experience working in a US headquartered matrix organisation
- Proven experience in handling employee related investigations
- Background in project management
