給与計算・C&Bマネージャー/ Payroll, C&B, Health Initiative Manager

A global automotive manufacturer is looking for a Manager, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Health Initiative. The selected candidate will oversee payroll, compensation and benefits operations while supporting employee health, safety and well-being initiatives. This is a hybrid and flexi-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly payroll, including termination payments, severance, bonuses and ad hoc payments
• Oversee wage tax, social insurance and labour insurance filings and payments
• Manage expatriate salary calculations, taxation and compensation reporting
• Prepare payroll, personnel expense, financial and management reports with high accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain payroll master data and manage government reporting and payroll-related accounting processes
• Manage welfare benefits, salary reviews, bonus planning and compensation benchmarking
• Ensure compliance with changes to payroll, social insurance and personnel-related tax regulations
• Manage payroll, social insurance and HR service vendors and provide secondary HR service support
• Support HR business partnering for the Purchasing division
• Manage company certificate issuance and related administrative processes
• Lead health and safety initiatives, employee wellbeing campaigns and local and global health roadmaps
• Develop measures to address mental health and safety risks based on stress check results and health committee discussions

Requirements:

• Experience with payroll responsibility over multi-sites
• Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting
• Familiarity with employee and labour relations, employment laws, and compliance requirements relating to benefits and compensation
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in verbal and written English; native level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• More than 8 years of professional experience
• More than 3 years of experience in HR function
• Experience with SAP
