メディカルサイエンティスト/ Medical Scientist

A multinational biopharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Scientist, Oncology. The selected candidate will provide scientific and medical guidance throughout the product life cycle while developing medical activities, engaging key stakeholders and supporting strategic priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Build effective relationships with Oncology KOLs, clinical trial investigators and other key external stakeholders
• Provide medical guidance, scientific information and data in response to commercial, scientific and medical needs
• Develop and execute medical education, data generation and patient-centric activities aligned with strategic priorities
• Collaborate closely with Japan Medical Affairs, global and Asia Medical Affairs and other key functions
• Attend major conferences, coordinate medical affairs activities and present to external audiences where required
• Maintain clinical, scientific and technical expertise in Oncology
• Manage projects through to completion, anticipating and resolving potential obstacles collaboratively
• Ensure all interactions and activities in Japan comply with corporate guidance, rules and industry codes of conduct
• Respond appropriately to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of strong industry experience
• Excellent judgement and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Hands-on approach with effective use of external resources
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Advanced degree in life science such as PhD, PharmD or MD with clinical and research experience in Oncology
• Previous experience in Medical, MSL or R&D roles in Oncology
• Project management skills
