Clinical Education Manager
A medical device company is searching for a Clinical Education Manager. The chosen applicant will develop and execute clinical education strategies and ensure compliance in the delivery of educational content.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with KOLs and clinical experts, including tiering based on FMV policy and facilitating engagement plans with appropriate contracting, documentation, and FMV assessments
- Organise and support KOL advisory boards, speaker training, and clinical collaborations, tracking and evaluating performance to ensure alignment with business goals
- Design, plan, and execute clinical education programs for HCPs and internal stakeholders, collaborating with marketing, sales, and clinical teams to align training content with strategic priorities
- Review clinical and scientific content for educational events, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with local or global guidelines, and maintain documentation for audits
- Evaluate and document FMV for HCP engagements, ensuring transparent and justifiable remuneration in collaboration with Legal or Compliance teams, and maintain updated benchmark data
- Partner with marketing, sales, regulatory, legal, and medical affairs to support integrated program planning and align local execution with global standards
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, dentistry, or related field (Master’s or professional degree is preferred)
- More than 5 years of experience in clinical education, KOL management, medical affairs, or a similar role in the healthcare or medtech industry
- Experience in FMV evaluation, HCP contracting, and content approval processes
- Experience working in a matrix or global organisation
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks governing HCP interactions
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with CRM and LMS platforms is a plus
- Clinical background (dental, medical, or allied health professional) is advantageous
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Native level Japanese; fluent level written and verbal English
