A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a Development Project Budget Management, Business System Operation, Business Value Evaluation (NPV Analysis) professional. The selected candidate will manage budgets and performance, provide investment evaluation and decision support, improve business processes and data analysis, and promote DX across the Development Headquarters. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate, manage, reanalyse, and forecast budgets and performance for development projects
• Aggregate, analyse, and report monthly, quarterly, and annual budget management data
• Coordinate with the Development, FP&A, and R&D Portfolio departments on budget and project management activities
• Construct and operate investment evaluation functions for development projects using NPV analysis, scenario analysis, and other business value evaluation methods
• Provide inquiry support, operational assistance, education, and guidance to internal business system users
• Plan and introduce new systems and processes to promote DX and advanced management
• Promote data analysis and business improvement using Excel, Tagetik, Power BI, and other business systems
• Support the operation and improvement of the development project cost management system
• Strengthen investment evaluation and decision support functions and contribute to the development of new FP&A functions
• Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency
• Support data analysis, business process reform, and DX initiatives across the Development Headquarters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related industries
• Practical experience in cross-departmental activities and project promotion as a business promotion officer
• Concrete experience solving issues through collaboration with other departments or external partners
• Experience in business improvement or projects utilising AI and machine learning
• Practical experience creating reports and developing data visualisation dashboards using Power BI
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience preparing materials in English, attending meetings in English, and working overseas
