プロダクションマネージャー/ Production Manager

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Production Manager. The selected candidate will lead production teams, ensure GMP compliance, and drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure production operations comply with safety, health, GMP, and SOP standards
• Lead start-up activities including plant qualification, validation, and operational optimiSation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost, and production quality
• Manage workforce planning, hiring, training, performance reviews, and staff development
• Collaborate with QA/QC to prevent quality issues and implement CAPA actions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan production schedules and allocate resources

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in highly regulated and GMP manufacturing industry as similar role
• experience in industrial hygiene sampling, collecting, and interpreting data, recording, and tracking metrics, etc.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and modern safety program (behaviour-based safety) in operation
• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in written and spoken English; native level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in producing pharmaceutical oral dosage form products
• Prior Lean & Six Sigma experience
