サイエンティフィックコンサルタント/ Scientific Consultant

A multinational life sciences technology company is seeking a Scientific Consultant Assay Analytics. The successful candidate will combine scientific, technical and project management expertise to support customers from pre-sales through deployment, implementation, optimisation and production usage. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop subject matter expertise in Genedata Screener and biological data analysis
• Provide end-to-end customer support across pre-sales, deployment, implementation, optimisation and production usage
• Plan and lead scientific consulting, custom implementation, system integration and data analysis projects
• Collaborate with sales teams to communicate the value and impact of products to prospective and existing customers
• Apply scientific and technical insights to strategic initiatives across science, marketing, development and product management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Immunology or a related life science discipline, ideally including wet lab experience
• Basic familiarity with the shell command-line interface
• Project management experience or training
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% in Japan and up to 3 times a year intercontinentally to Europe or the US
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); advanced level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience performing analytical or preparative chromatography experiments
• Experience in drug discovery or drug development within industry or academia
• Basic experience with Python scripting
