事業開発マネージャー/ Business Development Manager

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will provide analytical support for lead identification, business case preparation, and project negotiation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Development and internal and external partners to identify potential leads, conduct due diligence, and assess risk and benefit for new products or services in the Japan market
• Collaborate with stakeholders to bring projects from green light through launch, ensuring alignment with Japan market requirements
• Act as the key counterpart for partner company project managers, managing communications and tracking working group meetings and actions to support launch and growth strategies
• Maintain, update, and report the project risk register, ensuring compliance with GDP, GMP, and other regulatory and ethical standards
• Manage due diligence and onboarding task forces, including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Pharmacovigilance
• Ensure internal reporting, regulatory filings, and documentation are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
• Liaise with Business Development to ensure efficient project execution and support business plan development
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, industry best practices, competitors, and the local healthcare environment

Requirements:

• Project management experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, especially in the areas of supply chain planning or quality/regulatory affairs
• Data-driven and analytical, with a logical approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presenting ability
• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member across various functions
• Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese
