サービスエンジニア/ Service Engineer

A global energy technology company is looking for a Service Engineer. The selected candidate will deliver installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and cybersecurity services for high-availability operational technology systems.

Responsibilities:

• Execute service implementation and site service activities
• Perform installation, commissioning, upgrades and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot technical issues remotely and on site, implementing corrective actions
• Configure, test and implement cybersecurity solutions for OT networks
• Coordinate and deliver user training for supported systems
• Conduct root cause analysis and document issues to support problem management
• Lead teams when required and collaborate effectively in independent and team environments
• Support customer satisfaction by delivering services according to customer requirements
• Promote innovation, process improvements, risk identification and safety
• Follow quality management systems and take ownership of HS&E

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical, Electronics, Controls, IT engineering
• 3-5 years professional experience in the power plant or industrial sector
• Knowledge of cyber security solutions and experience with configuring, installing, testing and upgrading industrial controls networks, switches, firewall, remote access solutions
• Understanding of configuring, installing and troubleshooting industrial communication protocols for third-party interfaces, including OPC, Modbus and DNP3.0
• Ability and willingness to travel locally and overseas
• Business level Japanese; proficient in English is a plus

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid Electrical/Electronics/Network licence
• Knowledge of local safety regulations and compliance standards
