電気エンジニアマネージャー/ Electrical Engineer Manager

A renowned energy company is looking for an Electrical Engineer Manager. The selected candidate will lead grid connection planning, regulatory registrations, technical design, and engineering oversight for solar and energy projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop grid capacity maps to identify available connection points for new solar projects
• Prepare and manage grid connection study applications for solar and BESS HV/SHV projects
• Coordinate utility registrations and manage technical documentation and contracts for grid connection
• Handle regulatory registrations with METI and OCCTO, including applications and stakeholder coordination
• Create CAD and single-line diagram designs, conduct site inspections, and produce engineering reports
• Oversee project timelines, yield simulations, and construction supervision to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering or related field
• More than 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, including a managerial role
• Experience in solar power generation or renewable energy field
• Prior experience leading and managing teams
• Proficient in electrical design software (CAD, PVsyst.ETAP, etc.)
• Understanding of Japan’s power grid and distribution systems
• Knowledge of power electronics, battery systems, and SCADA systems
• Possess valid Electrical Chief Engineer (Class III or higher) or equivalent qualifications
• Possess valid Certifications related to solar power (PV Design Engineer, NABCEP certification)
• Possess valid driver’s licence
• Business level English
