An international energy technology company is seeking a Marketing & Sales Manager, Grid Integration. The selected candidate will lead marketing and sales strategy, drive business development initiatives, manage key customer relationships, and oversee team performance to achieve sales targets. This is a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and implement marketing and communications strategies in alignment with global strategy and budget
  • Develop and execute sales strategy and business development initiatives to achieve sales targets
  • Define marketing and sales targets and ensure achievement in line with business unit strategy
  • Identify opportunities with existing and new customers and develop plans to secure them
  • Lead product, industry and segment marketing activities and strategic marketing plans
  • Initiate and manage market analysis and ensure effective monitoring using marketing tools
  • Collaborate internally and oversee competitor analysis including financial data and market positioning
  • Coordinate sales activity data including leads, orders and contracts and evaluate performance
  • Provide market intelligence reports to the marketing and sales organisation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision makers
  • Manage risks related to contract agreements across customers and channels
  • Take ownership of sales processes, training and development programmes
  • Lead and develop the Grid Integration Sales and Marketing team through coaching and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, procedures and guidelines
  • Promote core values including safety and integrity, across the organisation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • More than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese market and Power Grids market
  • Experience managing people and leading teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to manage challenges in a large and competitive market
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across countries
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Business level Japanese and English
