ビジネスディベロップメントマネージャー/ Business Development Manager

An international energy solutions company is looking for a Renewable and Battery Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will identify new opportunities and drive strategic initiatives across renewable and battery projects. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Discover new business opportunities in the renewable and battery sectors
• Research and leverage subsidy systems aligned with business strategy
• Build relationships with partners, including local governments, and establish strategic alliances
• Develop, manage, and execute battery-related projects
• Create and monetise solution-based businesses centred on battery technology
• Formulate and implement business models based on market needs and opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Prior project management experience in grid-scale BESS or energy storage projects
• Experience structuring renewable energy or battery project investments, applying for energy-related subsidies, managing project portfolios, and understanding the electricity market
• Proficient in contract negotiation and execution (EPC, O&M)
• Skilled in stakeholder coordination, including government and investors
• Intermediate level English; proficient in Japanese
