eコマースマネージャー/ eCommerce Manager

A global fashion company is looking for an eCommerce Manager to lead its Japan eCommerce business across brand.com and major marketplaces. The selected candidate will drive commercial performance, digital marketing, customer experience and omnichannel development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies and plans
• Oversee online sales channels and business operations
• Manage marketing activities and promotional campaigns
• Monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities
• Coordinate product assortment, inventory and customer experience
• Lead team activities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of relevant eCommerce, digital trading
• Experience in people management
• Prior marketplace experience with ownership of commercial results
• Proven Amazon and/ or Japanese marketplace experience
• Previous experience owning sales targets, budgets, forecasts, commercial plans and profitability levers
• Understanding of the Japanese digital customer, marketplace ecosystem and commercial calendar
• Familiarity with performance marketing, marketplace advertising, SEO, CRM and campaign measurement
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience localising global platforms, business models or digital capabilities for Japan
• Prior ZOZOTOWN experience
• Proven fashion, premium, luxury, beauty or other brand-led consumer experience
• Previous Global-e or cross-border commerce, omnichannel, CRM, ERP, platform migration or digital transformation experience
