暫定EC責任者/ Interim Head of EC

A global IT services company is looking for an Interim Head of EC. The selected candidate will lead eCommerce performance, oversee marketplace operations, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure business continuity during a leadership transition. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Drive eCommerce revenue growth and manage full P&L performance
• Monitor key business metrics including traffic, conversion, average order value, and ROAS
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams across digital operations, merchandising, data, and technology
• Optimise marketplace performance, product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies
• Establish data-driven business reviews and operational processes to improve decision-making
• Ensure team stability and prepare a seamless leadership transition through comprehensive handover planning

Requirements:

• Experience driving commercial decisions through structured data and reporting
• Prior experience leading and mentoring teams of comparable scale in fast-paced retail or digital environments
• Proven experience steering performance marketing budgets and managing
  operations across major Japanese digital marketplaces
• Background running an eCommerce business unit and managing a full P&L at a director or head-of department level
• Knowledge of digital performance metrics
• Fluent level English; business level Japanese (JLPT N1)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and loyalty systems
• Proven experience working as an interim leader or transition manager navigating a multinational corporate structure
• Understanding of Japan-specific payment methods, distribution logistics, and local CRM consumer habits
