デジタルコンテンツエディター/ Digital Content Editor

A global financial information and credit ratings company is looking for a Digital Content Editor. The selected candidate will edit and translate financial content, ensure accuracy and compliance with publishing standards, and transform complex research into engaging digital content. This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Edit research articles in Japanese to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Translate articles from English to Japanese using machine translation and edit the Japanese content
• Translate articles from Japanese to English using machine translation, conduct initial checks and corrections, and pass content to the designated English Editor
• Apply digital writing principles through concise headlines, clear messaging, and highlighted opinions
• Transform complex data and analytical research into articles and social media content
• Create graphics using standard tools such as Excel, Visio, Plotly, and Illustrator
• Ensure articles comply with global publishing standards for format, style, and branding
• Communicate effectively with Japanese and overseas colleagues
• Ghostwrite articles and craft headlines and media releases when requested
• Collaborate with editors, translators, rating analysts, and operations specialists across the Asia-Pacific region and globally

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in digital journalism, communications, economics, or a related discipline
• Experience in editing and translation within the financial industry
• Sound knowledge of terminology and concepts used in financial markets
• Good interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Proven interest in developing digital, desktop publishing, and data visualisation skills using MS Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience as a finance reporter or writer
• Experience post-editing machine-translated content
