オートモーティブテクノロジーマネージャー/ Technology Manager Automotive

A global specialty chemicals company is looking for a Technology Manager Automotive. The selected candidate will manage customer technology requirements, drive business development, shape the eMobility technology roadmap, and coordinate technical projects from development through commercialisation.

Responsibilities:

• Own technological accountability for assigned automotive customers and applications
• Serve as the primary technical interface for OEM and Tier 1 customers and lead customer-facing technical engagements
• Lead and coordinate customer projects with R&D, Product Management, and Account Management throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage customer technical requirements and provide technical training and knowledge transfer to customers and internal and external stakeholders
• Identify, develop, and convert customer opportunities to support sustainable business growth
• Develop and execute OEM and Tier 1 account strategies and support commercial negotiations including pricing and framework agreements
• Manage regional and global project pipelines and align customer demand with business objectives
• Drive market readiness and commercialisation of battery-related technologies and applications
• Define and drive the eMobility technology roadmap, product portfolio, and innovation strategy
• Align product positioning, pricing strategy, and application development with Product Management
• Conduct market, customer, and competitor analyses to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends
• Propose and initiate R&D projects based on portfolio strategy, customer needs, and company governance
• Support the scaling and deployment of new technologies and applications from development through market introduction
• Represent the company in technical discussions, industry conferences, and external events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Engineering
• Proven experience in the automotive and/or eMobility industry
• Strong technical understanding of materials and applications in electrical and electronic environments
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration
• International experience in a matrix organisation and experience working across different cultures
• Commitment to safe working practices and fostering a strong safety culture
• Ability and willingness to travel globally, with 30%-50% travel required

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of adhesives, conformal coatings, potting resins, and electronics assembly processes
