キーアカウントマネージャー/ Key Account Manager
A multinational specialty chemicals and distribution company is looking for a Key Account Manager. The successful candidate will drive new business development, manage key pharmaceutical accounts, provide technical support, strengthen supplier relationships, and expand market share through strategic sales activities. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically prospect and identify new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector
- Develop and implement tactical plans to exceed sales targets across assigned territories and verticals
- Capture new market share by pursuing leads and converting them into long-term customers
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing key accounts and identify growth opportunities
- Manage relationships with focused principals and suppliers
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and align product solutions with business objectives
- Manage a diverse pharmaceutical customer portfolio with a focus on increasing market share, cross-selling, and upselling
- Create, monitor, and refine a pipeline of new customers while maximising account value and profitability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in sales or business development within the distribution industry or chemical-related manufacturing industry
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a hunter sales role
- Experience supporting product promotion, technical inquiries, and customer training
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to analyse market and customer data
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Business level English

- Strong consultative and closing skills
