営業マネージャー/ Sales Manager
An international specialty chemicals company is seeking a Sales Manager. The selected candidate will lead sales strategy across North Asia, manage strategic customer relationships, support new product development initiatives, and deliver sustainable revenue and profitability growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of sales strategies to accelerate business growth across North Asia
- Drive the implementation of sales and marketing plans aligned with market needs and business priorities
- Deliver sales targets with accountability for both volume and profitability
- Develop, coach, and support the sales team and distributors to maximise performance and market impact
- Build strategic relationships with key customers to develop collaborative BioFunctional projects and long-term growth opportunities
- Partner with the Marketing team to design, coordinate, and interpret regular and ad hoc market research
- Collaborate with Marketing on the development of new products tailored to the Japan and South Korea markets
- Coordinate with Marketing to support new product introduction promotions and commercialisation activities
- Manage indirect costs responsibly and within budget
- Ensure commercial activities align with company standards, policies, and operating procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry, Biology, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- More than 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or R&D within the Personal Care industry
- Experience in key account management
- Well-established network within the personal care industry, particularly with decision-makers in R&D and Marketing
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, build networks within customer accounts, and identify new growth opportunities
- Proficient in Japanese and English
Preferred requirements:
- Academic training in business management
- Experience in biology or active ingredients
