アカウントマネージャー/ Account Manager

A multinational advanced materials company is looking for an Account Manager – Specialty Additives. The selected candidate will manage commercial activities, drive sales growth, and support customer and distributor relationships across the Japanese market.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with distributors to maintain and grow existing customer accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Services, Finance, Product Stewardship, and Supply Chain to achieve business targets
  • Manage ERP systems for demand forecasting, pricing, customer entries, and commercial tracking
  • Collect and analyse market and customer data to understand trends and consumer behaviour
  • Maintain accurate records related to inventory and account activities
  • Resolve customer complaints and support process improvements to prevent recurring issues
  • Identify market trends through customer engagement and market research

Requirements:

  • More than 3 years of sales experience in chemical companies with a proven track record of driving sales growth
  • Experience in data collection, tracking, and analysis
  • Problem-solving experience in a commercial environment
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate internally and externally
  • Native level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a chemical-related field
  • Experience in release agent and antifoam applications
  • Experience using multiple ERP systems
  • Business level English
