A renowned chemical manufacturing company is looking for an Assistant Manager, Japan Sales. The selected candidate will lead sales strategy, key account development, market expansion, and cross-business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop mid- to long-term business strategies, including alliances, partnerships, and potential M&A opportunities
  • Drive sales targets, budget planning, and financial performance across assigned customers and territories
  • Lead market development activities, including channel management, new business opportunities, and product initiatives
  • Build strategic relationships with key customers, industries, and Japanese accounts with overseas operations
  • Manage external communications, including product launches, safety updates, promotions, seminars, and workshops
  • Support organisational growth by coaching stakeholders and driving cross-BU and cross-country initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (chemistry, business management is ideal)
  • Experience in commodity chemical sales
  • Understanding of sales & marketing SCM and finance
  • Business level English
