プロセスサイエンスエキスパート/ Process Science Expert

A global cosmetics company is looking for a Process Science Expert. The selected candidate will develop innovative technologies for cosmetic formulations and lead projects to enhance process capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop platform technologies for cosmetic formulations driven by process innovation concepts
• Lead projects independently to support strategic innovation, including hands-on lab experiments and technical reporting
• Perform chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials and products
• Establish long-term strategy for process equipment, including scouting and deployment of new technologies
• Manage laboratory operations, including safety, planning, investment, and contracts
• Collaborate with application domains and communicate findings globally within the company

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or relevant fields
• Hands-on experience in process and formulation of pharmaceutical or personal care products
• Prior experience in physicochemical characterisation techniques (SEM, TEM, XRD, optical microscopy)
• Experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations or similar modelling tools is ideal
• Good network in academia or corporate environments is a plus
• Open to working with heavy machinery
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Professional level Japanese and English
