プロダクションエンジニア/ Production Engineer

A multinational chemical manufacturing company is looking for a Production Engineer. The selected candidate will optimise plant performance by applying technical knowledge, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the operations team to solve problems and apply technical expertise
• Apply knowledge of plant operations and consult with technical experts as needed
• Utilise and challenge Most Effective Technology (MET) to enhance performance
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and document operating disciplines
• Diagnose and document causes of asset utilisation losses
• Monitor daily operations and maintain a strong field presence
• Review logbooks and alarms to stay updated on plant activities
• Track and analyse daily Key Process Indicators (KPI) to ensure efficiency
• Respond swiftly to plant issues and emergencies
• Lead corrective and preventive actions for unplanned events
• Optimise raw material efficiency and reduce waste generation
• Ensure compliance with plant permits and contribute to system-wide improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Material Science / Metallurgical Engineering
• Professional level Japanese and English
