クレジットアナリスト/ Credit Analyst

A global banking and financial services company is looking for a Credit Analyst. The selected candidate will conduct credit analysis, recommend limits, manage portfolios, support approvals and renewals, and advise on regulatory and capital markets matters. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct first-level credit analysis and prepare concise, well-supported credit proposals for financial institution counterparties
• Recommend credit limits in partnership with banking, sales and structuring teams based on risk appetite and client credit profiles
• Manage credit renewals, risk ratings and documentation while maintaining accurate and up-to-date credit files
• Monitor credit approvals and maintain regular communication with bankers, sales, structuring teams and approval officers
• Manage a portfolio of financial institution counterparties across Asia, particularly Japan, while assessing financial trends, industry developments and significant business events
• Support capital markets documentation, regulatory reporting, risk committees, provisioning and other credit-related projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in financial institutions counterparty risk credit analysis
• Understanding of the regulatory and business environment in Japan
• Fluent level English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Understanding of capital market products including equity derivatives products, ISDA (International Swaps & Derivatives Association) /CSA (Credit Support Annex) documentation, GMRA, GMSLA, trade finance, asset backed financing
