A global waste management and environmental services company is seeking a Corporate Development (M&A Analyst or Manager). The selected candidate will assess projects, lead financial analyses, and support end-to-end M&A activities. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct project assessments
• Perform valuation and credit analysis for subsidiaries, projects and acquisition targets
• Execute financial modelling to evaluate risk, return and project feasibility with business development teams
• Oversee financial and tax due diligence for M&A
• Assist in drafting and negotiating agreements including SPA, SHA and LA
• Prepare financial memos and support post-deal financial integration

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of M&A field experience
• Experience in financial modelling
• Understanding of IFRS and JGAAP including business combinations and consolidation
• Business level Japanese; business level written and spoken English

Preferred requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance
• Experience in a multinational company, Big4 or investment bank
• Prior experience in project finance
• Possess valid CPA or equivalent certification
