資金調達担当/ Dept Capital Markets

A global real estate investment and development firm is looking for a Dept Capital Markets role (Director/Senior Manager). The selected applicant will be responsible for arranging and executing debt financing for projects sponsored by the company and its managed funds.

Responsibilities:

• Lead debt financing execution for development and stabilised real estate/infrastructure projects in Japan
• Prepare RFP packages, manage Q&A with prospective lenders and negotiate financing terms
• Evaluate financing proposals and prepare recommendations for senior management and fund managers
• Manage financing transactions from initial lender engagement through documentation and closing
• Work closely with onshore investment teams, offshore fund managers, construction, asset management, leasing, legal and treasury teams
• Support Asset Management teams with lender reporting, covenant matters and ongoing communication relating to existing financing facilities
• Support the Japan Country CFO with debt portfolio analysis, liability management and related reporting
• Develop and maintain relationships with banks, arrangers and other financing counterparties

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in Japanese commercial real estate financing gained within a bank/lender, arranger, real estate company, investment manager, or asset management firm
• Strong understanding of non-recourse real estate financing
• Working knowledge of Japanese real estate legal structures, valuation, and cash-flow modelling
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities
• Native level written and verbal Japanese; business level written and verbal English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with development financing and/or acquisition financing
• Exposure to logistics, data centers, renewable energy, or other infrastructure assets
