A foreign automotive electronics company is looking for a Sales Manager. The chosen applicant will drive sales growth by managing OEM accounts, executing go-to-market strategies, and achieving revenue targets. This is a remote position that requires travel within Japan

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow OEM accounts in Japan
  • Develop account plans, prioritise opportunities, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline in CRM
  • Execute the go-to-market strategy by balancing direct engagement and channel support
  • Build strong relationships with engineering and sourcing teams, and deliver technical presentations with FAEs
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to ensure timely support and delivery
  • Report KPIs and performance metrics regularly
  • Manage new business opportunities (NBO) and pricing using the LFBC system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA is preferred)
  • More than 7 years of OEM sales experience in industrial markets
  • 10-7 years in regional sales management roles
  • 5-3 years of experience leading sales members/teams
  • Proven ability to manage mid-tier OEM accounts and drive growth in emerging markets
  • Strong understanding of Datacenters, BESS, EV Charging, and Industrial Automation applications
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Expertise in direct, multi-technology selling to Industrial OEM customers
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Professional level Japanese and English
