セールスエンジニア / Sales Engineer (Key Account)
A consumer goods company is searching for a Sales Engineer. The selected applicant will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving sales across Japan’s RV, truck, and specialty vehicle markets.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM and aftermarket customers
- Serve as the primary contact for customer business matters, including inquiries, complaints, and negotiations
- Lead annual budget planning and account strategy
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Prepare product proposals, pricing quotations, and business presentations
- Plan and manage sales forecasts and inventory coordination
- Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities across RV, truck, and specialty vehicle segments
- Understand and explain technical aspects of products to support customer decision-making
- Obtain product specifications and technical documentation from global factory teams
- Prepare business progress reports and service/quality updates for internal and factory stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business, or a related technical field
- More than 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in automotive or industrial sectors
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven track record in customer support and account management
- Strong technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Business level English and Japanese
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in OEM and aftermarket sales in Japan
- Background in RV, truck, or commercial vehicle industries
- Familiarity with complex sales cycles and technical solution selling
