認証シニアエンジニア/ Homologation Senior Engineer

A global automotive engineering services company is seeking a Homologation Senior Engineer. The selected candidate will manage homologation projects, build stakeholder relationships, and deliver certification solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Promote homologation business by identifying client needs, preparing proposals, and securing project agreements
• Undertake homologation programmes for overseas automotive manufacturers entering the Japanese market
• Develop and maintain relationships with key homologation stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Manage project resources and oversee the full project lifecycle to ensure delivery in line with timing, cost, and quality objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure alignment across departments
• Conduct client meetings and deliver technical presentations on homologation solutions
• Monitor and follow up on homologation processes to ensure successful certification outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, preferably with automotive specialisation
• More than 5 years of experience in Japanese certification programmes
• Experience in EC/ECE regulation certification programmes
• Knowledge of Japanese homologation procedures and key stakeholders including regulatory authorities
• Ability to influence stakeholders through technical expertise and structured arguments
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in English
