戦略企画部マネージャー/ Strategic Planning Department Manager

A multinational automotive technology company is looking for a Strategic Planning Department Manager. The selected candidate will lead corporate strategy development, drive strategic initiatives, oversee business planning, and collaborate across global functions to improve business performance and long-term growth. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Support the formulation and execution of medium- to long-term corporate strategic plans
• Translate global strategic priorities into regional and functional initiatives
• Identify strategic business opportunities through market, customer, technology, and competitor analysis
• Conduct strategic assessments, scenario planning, and business portfolio evaluations
• Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives across global and business unit levels
• Establish governance processes to monitor execution and ensure alignment with corporate objectives
• Track strategic KPIs and provide performance assessments and recommendations to senior management
• Develop strategic dashboards and performance metrics for senior management reporting
• Analyse business performance and recommend measures to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Provide strategic recommendations on new product definition, product portfolio optimisation, and market positioning
• Lead strategic projects involving multiple global departments and regions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 6 years of experience in corporate strategy, business planning, strategy formulation, management consulting, or a related field
• Proven track record in formulating business strategies and driving strategic initiatives
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience making recommendations to senior management
• Business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in product strategy, product development, market strategy, or global operations
• Experience collaborating across R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, SCM, and QEHS
• Experience in project management, product lifecycle management, business transformation, or business process improvement
• Experience working in a multinational corporation or matrix organisation
• Proficient in Chinese
