自律支援エンジニア/ Autonomy Support Engineer

A global autonomous vehicle technology company is hiring an Autonomy Support Engineer. The selected candidate will investigate and resolve system issues, support software development, and analyse vehicle testing data to ensure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and review logged events from autonomous vehicles to identify issues and escalate when needed
• Support internal teams by maintaining and expanding a technical knowledge base
• Curate and manage datasets to support software development
• Analyse testing data to assist in improving autonomy software
• Develop simulation scenarios to support system evaluation
• Identify issue patterns and provide insights to aid resolution

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field
• More than 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, data analysis, and issue investigation
• Experience in a start-up environment, with autonomous vehicles, or working with simulation tools is a plus
• Proficient with Linux scripts and terminal usage
• Skilled in Python and C/C++
• Understanding of BI tools (e.g. AWS Quicksight, Tableau, Looker)
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Business level Japanese and English
