経理・税務マネージャー/ Accounting & Tax Manager

A global energy company is looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager. The successful candidate will oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, audits, and financial controls while supporting business decisions and ensuring compliance with IFRS, JGAAP, and Japanese tax regulations. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly and year-end closing processes for KK entities
• Oversee financial reporting, statutory reporting, and reconciliation between IFRS and JGAAP
• Manage corporate, local, and consumption tax compliance and filings
• Coordinate external audits, tax reviews, and due diligence activities
• Manage intercompany service arrangements, transfer pricing, and financial controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting and tax insights and drive process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 7 years of experience in accounting
• Experience with audit, tax, and intercompany transactions
• Exposure to multinational or regional finance environments
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, JGAAP, and Japanese tax (JTAX)
• Experience managing IFRS, JGAAP, and JTAX differences
• Understanding of transfer pricing and intercompany services
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with Japanese KK entities
• Possess a valid CPA or equivalent professional qualification
