税務会計・申告スペシャリスト/ Tax Accounting & Filing Specialist

An international transportation and logistics company is looking for a Tax Accounting & Filing Specialist. The selected candidate will support international tax matters, ensure tax compliance, manage tax risks, and assist with tax planning, reporting, and research activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide divisional tax support to assist corporate tax operations
• Coordinate international tax matters across the division
• Ensure compliance with foreign and US tax regulations
• Support tax planning, research, and international transaction structuring activities
• Analyse and manage divisional tax risks
• Assist in resolving local tax issues
• Support US GAAP, Local GAAP, and technical accounting requirements
• Contribute to the development and improvement of tax-related processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting
• More than 4 years of experience in corporate taxation
• Experience in corporate taxation within a public accounting firm or industry tax department
• Good technical knowledge of regional tax laws
• Strong research skills and technical writing ability
• Knowledge of US GAAP, Local GAAP, and technical accounting principles
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of APAC and international taxation
• Understanding of APAC tax laws and APAC corporate and individual tax filings
• Experience in the development and implementation of accounting principles and procedures
