CFO

An international aesthetic medical device company is looking for a CFO. The selected candidate will lead the financial strategy, manage cross-functional operations, and ensure compliance with local and global standards. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee finance, tax, accounting, cash flow, and cost control
• Lead closings and prepare financial reports for HQ
• Manage local funding, intercompany transactions, and tax audits
• Establish budgets, plan operations, and create mid-to-long-term business plans
• Set and monitor KPIs for sales, service, and logistics divisions
• Analyse risks and provide insights using financial data
• Ensure compliance with medical device/cosmetic regulations and J-GAAP
• Strengthen internal controls and integrate with HQ’s ERP system
• Report to HQ and collaborate with internal departments and external partners

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of finance or accounting experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries is ideal
• Practical experience as CFO or senior finance leader with full P&L responsibility
• Experience managing multi-site financial operations or SCM preferred
• Expertise in Japanese accounting standards, tax, and audit
• Understanding of medical device regulatory environment preferred
• Possess a valid authorisation to work and reside long-term in Japan
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English (Korean is a plus)
