会計マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

An international hospitality company is seeking an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and lead process improvements across Japan entities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise overall accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records
• Lead monthly and yearly closings, review reconciliations, and prepare consolidated financial reports
• Manage treasury functions including cash forecasting, banking mandates, and account access
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion of tax filings with local advisors
• Implement new accounting, tax, and legal regulations into existing processes
• Develop and guide the accounting team through training, goal setting, and performance reviews
• Maintain internal control standards and ensure authorisation procedures are properly followed
• Support the Finance Director on ad hoc financial and tax analysis tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 10 years of accounting and tax experience
• 3–5 years of experience in people management (CPA firm or tourism industry preferred)
• Prior experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting best practices, and Japanese tax regulations
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Possess a valid CPA certification is a plus
• Native level Japanese; advanced level English (TOEIC 850+)
