財務部長/ Finance Director

A global apparel company is seeking a Finance Director to oversee financial compliance, governance, business partnering and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance and support strategic decision-making. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Establish finance governance frameworks and ensure compliance with statutory accounting, IFRS, tax and regulatory requirements
• Oversee BPO service delivery, financial reporting quality, period-end closings, audits and statutory filings
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities while addressing complex financial and compliance matters
• Partner with commercial and operational leaders to guide strategic decisions on pricing, investments, market expansion and growth initiatives
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, mid-term planning, financial modelling and variance analysis to drive performance against targets
• Develop business cases, deliver financial insights and implement initiatives to optimise cash flow, working capital and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, or related domain
• Understanding of German statutory accounting, IFRS, tax, internal controls, audit and regulatory requirements
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
