経営管理マネージャー/ Business Controlling Manager

A foreign luxury cosmetics company is seeking a Business Controlling Manager. The chosen applicant will serve as a strategic partner to brand management, providing financial expertise and insights to drive profitable growth and achieve business objectives. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Support business decisions by providing relevant financial data and business KPIs with their interpretation to local and HQ management
• Drive cost effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve profitability
• Facilitate the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with local and HQ teams to set financial targets
• Submit budget and forecast packages in accordance with Group timelines and guidelines
• Monitor business progress against Budget and Forecast
• Identify, analyse, and report Risks & Opportunities in a timely manner
• Support relevant teams in implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks
• Assess and maintain appropriate accruals and provisions
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the group package by working closely with the local Accounting team and HQ Consolidation team
• Assist the local Accounting team in managing internal and external audits, including accounting and tax audits
• Support directors and brand management in ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field (MBA is preferred)
• More than 10 years of experience in finance (business controlling or FP&A is ideal)
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems
• Advanced level MS Excel and financial modelling skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in the FMCG Industry in a multinational company
• Knowledge of retail
• Proficient in French
