A healthcare management company is looking for a Finance Controller. The successful candidate will lead monthly closing, management accounting, budget management, internal controls, audit and tax compliance, and business process improvements to support management decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and improve closing speed and accuracy
• Create and quality-control management and financial reports for management, shareholders, and financial institutions
• Design management accounting by location and department and analyse performance linked to KPIs
• Manage annual budget and medium-term plan formulation and conduct monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis
• Analyse cost structures and propose optimisation measures
• Manage financial consolidation across the company and two medical corporations, including inter-company elimination
• Improve accounting processes including expense reimbursement, payments, and accounts receivable and payable management
• Promote the implementation and integration of accounting and related systems
• Support accounting audits, tax matters, and negotiations with audit firms and external experts
• Improve accounting policies, closing processes, revenue recognition, and tax treatment for self-pay medical services
• Support billing and settlement processes related to management support outsourcing fees

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of practical experience in an accounting and finance department of a business company, auditing firm, or accounting office for Senior candidates
• More than 5 years of practical experience in an accounting and finance department of a business company, auditing firm, or accounting office for Junior candidates
• Practical experience in monthly and annual financial closing
• Practical experience in budget formulation and budget-to-actual management
• Experience in designing and operating management accounting, including profit and loss by location and department
• Experience in monthly closing across multiple locations and closing profit and loss by location
• Practical experience in overseeing financial closing and managing team members for Senior candidates
• Experience in company law financial closing and corporate tax and consumption tax filing for Senior candidates

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in financial closing and reporting for a listed company or an environment requiring a similar level of reporting
• Accounting and finance experience in multi-location businesses such as medical, beauty, retail, or food and beverage
• Experience implementing or replacing accounting systems or ERP
• Experience building and improving internal controls including approval authority, approval processes, and division of duties
• Experience dealing with audit firms or audits from the audited company's side
• Experience in accounting and financial closing for medical corporations
• Experience changing the fiscal year or handling the first year of an audit
• Possess a valid CPA, Tax Accountant, USCPA, or equivalent accounting expertise
