財務アシスタントマネージャー/ Assistant Finance Manager

A multinational automotive technology company is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager. The selected candidate will lead factory accounting operations, manage closing and reporting, oversee cost and budget control, strengthen internal controls, and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations within the factory and lead the accounting team
• Oversee monthly and annual closing processes and prepare financial reports
• Prepare financial statements, variance analysis, and internal reporting
• Manage costs and budgets and support financial control of the factory
• Establish and operate internal control systems
• Drive finance and accounting process improvements
• Provide on-the-job training to team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience with monthly and yearly closing processes
• Management experience
• Proficiency in MS PPT and MS Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced data analysis functions
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Accounting experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience in cost accounting or management accounting
• Experience in process improvement
• Experience collaborating across multiple departments
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Possess a valid Bookkeeping Certification Level 2+
