財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global technology company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will manage day-to-day accounting, external finance vendors, group P&L consolidation, financial close and reporting, while improving processes as the company scales.

Responsibilities:

• Run day-to-day accounting for Japan operations
• Own the relationship with external bookkeeping and tax vendors and ensure work is accurate and completed on time
• Consolidate the group P&L and work with leaders across product, growth, content, and infrastructure to understand and report financial performance
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Support management and investor reporting
• Identify inefficient finance processes and implement improvements
• Build and improve finance processes in a fast-growing environment

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Solid knowledge of Japanese accounting practices, including J-GAAP close, consumption tax, and withholding
• Experience working with a 税理士事務所 or outsourced bookkeeper
• Ability to work comfortably in an environment where processes may not yet exist and take the initiative to build them
• Business-fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Corporate finance experience in FP&A, business partnering, or transactions
• Strong academic record
• Genuine interest in anime, manga, games, or AI
• Possess a valid professional qualification such as 公認会計士, USCPA, or 日商簿記 1 級/2 級
