経理マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

A renowned appliances manufacturing company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounting operations, tax compliance, treasury activities, internal controls, audits, and team performance while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in compliance with global accounting standards and timelines
• Review and approve accounting transactions, reconciliations, and balance sheet monitoring activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and master data within SAP
• Manage tax filings, tax reviews, audits, and support tax planning initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management
• Coach the accounting team, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of experience in broad finance and accounting roles within multinational companies (consumer product industry is a plus)
• More than 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or team lead closing the book and dealing with auditors
• Experience under IFRS and J-GAAP
• Prior ERP/SAP experience in FI module (AP/AR/GL)
• Background in HQ reporting
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Understanding of internal control and compliance
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
