ファイナンス＆コントローリングアナリスト/ Finance & Controlling Analyst

A global luxury retail company is looking for a Finance & Controlling Analyst. The selected candidate will provide financial reporting, budgeting, business planning, performance analysis, and process improvement support to enable informed business decision-making. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial reports for management and headquarters
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Create and improve reporting tools and systems according to business needs
• Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast revision process with management and department heads
• Monitor sales performance, gross profit trends, inventory levels, and operating expenses
• Perform budget versus actual variance analysis
• Support business planning activities
• Conduct financial analysis for existing and new business initiatives
• Perform investment analysis to support management decision-making
• Participate in ad hoc finance projects
• Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Knowledge of Japanese tax regulations
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• More than 5 years of General Ledger (GL) experience even without prior FP&A or planning experience
